Default 4.8L valve covers on a 5.7L

buddy of mine is selling some 4.8L covers and i was wondering if they will fit on my 5.7....the 4.8 is a 2006 model and I was wondering if I use my coil packs and wires will these work or are the bolt holes for the coil packs different?...I want to polish these out and put them on my car but i want to make sure I can first...someone said that they wouldn't work at all but I just wanted to make sure.

thanks

The driver's side is the same, but the passenger side on the LS1 has two tubes for the PCV system and 4.8 only has one. Other than that, they are the same if you currently have centerbolt valve covers. Hope this helps, and I know because I just went outside and looked at my 4.8 in my Yukon.
