Some people do some people dont. I went with a overdrive alt pully just to be on the safe side (only $25).

Im confused, you did that w/ the underdrive ...or that alone, any performance gains w/ just the overdrive.

he did both, and to keep his charging system up to snuff, he put the overdrive alt pulley on. good thinking. although you prob wont see many problems with a stock stereo and not alot of extra electronics. you may expect a shortened alt life prob, but that is really worse case scenario.

Yes I run a ASP 25% underdrive crank pulley and a 10% overdrive alt. If you run alot of accesories at the same time like lights, radio, heater a/c fan, wipers, windows etc. it would be a good idea to put on a overdrive alt. pulley so it doesnt put alot of strain on the alt. and battery.

I have an under drive pulley (A4) and have charging issues. I haven't had the time to find out what is causing it yet though.

Your going to pay close to $300 for a pulley kit unless you find one used or run a off brand. I picked up my stall for $300 used.
