Muffler and turn-down after y-pipe...Which muffler?
Which muffler should I go with after my mac headers and catless y. I want to eliminate rasp and quiet the car down a bit. Doesn't have to be too quiet obviously, just not over the top. I have the LM1 on my car right now, and the excessive rasp and noise is horrible.
This is the level of noise I can deal with. This is my old street car:

I think the 18" ones will fit. Theres a lot of different things you could do like run a pair of 2.5" sweet thunder mufflers to a single 3" powerstick muffler.
or keep the loudmoth and replace the resonator with a round borla muffler.

with that minimal of an exhaust...you'll still have a considerable amount of rasp.
but a bullet muffler like the one Summit sells would help.
they sell a 24" version which gives you more sound control than the 16 or 18" versions that dynomax makes. and they're cheaper than the borla XR1.
other option would be to try and slip a magnaflow 4x9 muffler on there. they fit on my TD setup, so they should fit decent on a single with some creative placement.
