Default 99 EGR on a 2000 ws6

Ok, ive searched and i know it can be done but how hard is it to swap my EGR from a 2000 to a 1999? if you have pics that would help aton, also it won't throw any codes will it?

whats the matter with your egr? wtf needs egr LOL most people try to get rid of it and here you are trying to put another one on LOL What state are you in? Down here in sunny sfl we dont have emissions so we pretty much.....well at least the performance minded ones try to get rid of any emissions control devices has much has possible LOL.

just get rid of the EGR and install blockoff plates on the intake and exhause manifold

i havent had EGR or AIR for about two years now. AT MOST youll have to get the codes deleted, which can be done by anyone with hptuners

i wont pass emissions, only reason i want a 99 is cause i can get a new set of american racing headers but there for a 1999 and mines a 2000...i need to keep my emission stuff

He asked how do it not someones opinion on the matter
EGR helps reduce nitrides of oxygen during cruise and gives you a few MPG as well.

Regardless, EGR and AIR do not hinder performance in any way. Minus the long egr tube which most people cut down to size.

^ so y don't you tell him how to do it then instead of giving you opintion just like the others.

It should bolt rite up i don't know y it would but i would make sure the air system is also a 1999 then to if you going to get them headers cuz the 1999 and 2000s have a different air systems im pretty sure.

thanks firehawk...im gonna see if i can find both EGR and Air systems from a 99 and see if there any difference air wise
