Default How to fix driver side angle of LPP headers

Since it's freakin 9 degree's here today I am day dreaming about the things I am going to do the my car later this summer.

I have a set of the first design LPP headers I bought like two years ago.

Yeah I know I don't get in a hurry about things.

I have heard that some people have had problems with the driver side header angling up to far.

What is the best way to fix it? The only idea I have is to make something that will fit inside the header collector and put a long handle on it. Heat up the front of it with a torch until it's cherry red then pull the collector down.

Would this work? I may or may not have problems with it but I am trying to get a game plan just in case.

If I wouldn't have been so impatient I would not have bought the headers at the time and would have ended up buying the revised set they have out now.

Thanks for any input.

Jason

You're talking about the XS headers not LPP.

The only way to fix would be to cut off the collector and re-weld it

You are correct sir. I forgot they were called XS back then.

So you think the whole thing will have to be cut/welded? Damn I was hoping it would be easier than that.
