Default how to take out the valve cover vent hose?

The hose that runs from the back of the driver side valve cover and connects to the two ports on the top of the passenger side is the hose that I'm talking about. It is super in the way of somethings that i have running in the back. I want to put a catch can on the car but what about doing away with the whole hose and just cap the 2 back spots and run the catch can on the one front one with a breather on the oil cap? I looked at the ls6 valley cover but i don't want to go through grinding on the block...

having just a breather is soposed to shorten engine life, id look into the ls6 more if you hafto remove the original pvc system.

yeah ive read the ls6 is suppose to be better but really why spend some money on a dumb cover that is really useless... I don't mind spending money on the car when its something thats useful... wonder if anyone has every rerouted the hoses to run up the driver side instead of the passenger?
