Angry Slp loudmouth 2 review

Ok, Now I have installed over 25 of these freaking systems on all different types of f-bodies, and the 1 that I order from them for myself is the biggest piece of crap ever. I dont know who made this exhaust but they were asleep. First the pipe that goes from the end of the y-pipe to the slp bullet muffler was 2 3/4" in diameter rather than 3" so I had to use a pipe machine to open that up. Then The tail pipe that mounts to the driverside of the car Was 3" and not 2 1/2 like its supposed to be!!!! So yeah instead of taking an easy 30 to 40 minutes to install it took 3 hours of modding this to make it fit! So yeah I dont know whats with SLP but they need to get on point... Oh and it took 3 weeks for me to get the damn thing!

I don't think I've ever heard anyone really love them. I put the bullet style muffler on my Camaro with a turndown, I'll post a pic. Everyone I've heard said my setup sounds better than the Loudmouth II full kit. I just did this for time being until I can afford a GMMG.

Loudmouths are gay. They sound like ****, and they never mount up correctly.

Sound is a personal thing, rarely do people agree on exhaust sounds. Personally, I think Loudmouths sound like crap and their quality leaves something to be desired.

I like mine but it was a bitch to install as well. I'm running two Dynatech powercats so there is no drone or rasp like most people get with them. I'm running Long Tubes as well. From what I've seen it's a hit or miss

i loved my lm2 system. fit was a lil off but the sound was great! for the price you pay for the catback compared to others its not a bad deal at all.

I know its not apples to apples but the SLP LM1 on my GTO mounted, fit, and sounded perfect the first time out.

For LM2 owners-Whats the deal with this kit in the sound department? Does it drone and rasp like crazy (like the LM1) or is there an improvement in this kit ?

LM1 went in for me without a problem. However, it was a PITA to fit the bigger diameter borla XR1 in place of the resonator when I changed the setup. I think most of the fitment issues come with the different case diameters of the resonator.

Well that's 3 things in 1 post that you just proved you know nothing about!

I had no problems svshawk03 when I installed the loudmouth 1 on my Hawk. Everything lined up great.

Id just like to know how it sounds. I hope it doesn't sound like a pick up truck with exhaust. We have a pewter T/A around here, and everytime the guy steps on it, I always think its a Chev 1500 with duals out back flying by....

Sorry to hear about your fitment problems bro. When i had my LM1 it bolted right in for me. With full bolt-ons it sounded freaken awesome!!! Always scared the **** out of everyone. But 3 tickets later, i had to change it
