Default Ls6 Intake Question

Ok I've been going over the installation of an LS6 intake and I had one question. Ok I know some people change the coolant lines and some dont. If you do change the coolant line you have to install plugs on the back of the motor. Since most people bypass their throttle why not just install plugs on the front and cap off the radiator? Is that small amount of flow needed across the front or is it simply for the throttle body?

I didn't even think about that. My LT1 had bleeders on the coolant system to make sure the air is out, guess that is what those small lines are doing running up high, makes sense. Thanks!

if you DON'T change the lines, you have to cut the "fins" off the bottom of the intake manifold.

but for the $50 or so...i'd just get the lines.
