Default Leaky Meziere WP - Any Quick Fixes?

I just installed my new Meziere on my new HKE engine. I got a leak of about a cup when the thermostat opens and then it stops. Not being able to locate the leak I rented a pressure tested and found out where it was leaking as indicated in the picture below. Any ideas on a quick fix? I really wanted to take the car to the track for it's maiden voyage this weekend.

Thanks in advance

Doubtful - personally, I'd take it off and send it back to Meziere for repair. I had to do it for mine, but it was leaking out of the weep hole, and not very much.

it seems like once the thermostat opens it leaks until it heats up. Once it warms up the metal expands and it stops leaking....weird

It was purchased new about 3 months ago and just recently installed when my new engine arrived.

I think Meziere has a 2 yr warranty. Good company, just explain your issue, hell email this thread. I am sure they can fix or replace your ewp. That is if they still come with a 2 yr warranty.

I just spoke to Jay @ Meziere. He was very helpful and suggested double checking the allen heads in the back and wants me to back off the waterpump bolts and re-torque them. I'll give this a try when I get home tonight.

I haven't fired it up yet but one of the allen heads near the area of the leak was very loose. I open it up and used RTV Blue on the entire gasket area, then buttoned it back up....I'm sure it will be fine now.

Jay was very helpful and I'm sure they will take care of it if I still have issues.
