Default New motor from GM, change rod bolts or don't change rod bolts??

I have a new(not rebuilt)GM LS1 that I will be installing soon. I was thinking about changing the rod bolts over to the KATECH bolts so I did a search and there really is no definative answer on this. Some say "no problem" some say its a gamble. I understand that there is a potential for problems on a used motor where the cap could be distorted from use but is there any issue on a brand new engine that has never been run? Thanks for the help.

What do you intend to spin it to?

Katechs will swap in just fine and are the only ones I would use unless it is part of a rebuild. Just make sure to swap them one at a time
