im thinking of doing a cam swap in my 2000 ss does anyone know the est time it takes

Took me bout 13 hrs to do mine(A friend done it and i helped lol) Thats doing cam,springs,push rods,oil pump,and timing chain....

mine took four afternoons with 3 of the four hilton was helping......i took my time and went extra slow since it was my first cam swap.

I only had to remove the power steering pump, water pump, radiator, damper wheel, AC idler pulley, valve covers, rocker arms, push rods and use the two dow rods to hold the lifters. Remove the timing cover then timing chain, cam thust plate, and pull the cam.
