Default ASP Pulley is making me run slow

Will a ASP pulley give my motor knock retard or pull timing? I have a 99 Z28 with LS6 intake, LT headers, 85mm Granitelli MAF, 6spd car. I went from running 12.8 to 12.9's @110 to running 13.5@104.....So whats going on here I am lost. I ran the 13.5's after I installed the pulley and MAF.....HELP please

Take the Granetelli MAF off and put the stock one back on or get the car tuned.

It's just not going to help you much at all. It's not a good bang for the buck mod. You may pick up a few hp over the stock piece with it after tuning, but it's not going to be worth what you payed for it.

It shouldn't. I ran one for years, plenty of people running them. I suppose anything is possible.
Why do you think you have KR? Have you scanned the car?

Don't bother getting an aftermarket MAF at your level. Like you've just seen, it does more harm than good.

Granatelli MAF's are garbage.

To answer your question, YES a pulley can give you KR if it's warped, or hasn't been installed/seated properly. I've seen wobbling pulleys give false knock. Highly unlikely thats YOUR problem, but it is possible.

If you get a bigger maf you must get a tune. It will just hurt if you don't have it tuned, alot of people say that the stock maf is better not true, bigger maf with a tune is better any day of the week. Even though they say that the stock maf is good for 500 ponys, that dosn' t mean it's not a restriction. If you have a 90 mm tb and the stock maf your just bottle necking the air. Best bang for the buck maf is delphi z06/truck maf, I got one on ebay for 35 shipped brand new! Don't ask for the link cause the seller dosn' t have anymore. For people running the stock tb, then the stock maf is fine.

ok, I have an slp airlid, smooth bellow, ported TB, and LS6 intake. So if I send my Granatelli back, I should get the Delphi one right? Then get it tuned I will be fine right?

Not trying to hijack at all but if someone wanted to switch to a full 85mm setup, what MAF and LID would you recommend?
