lost a cylinder on my 01 Trans Am. Have a chance to get a deal on a 03 ZO6 engine what kind of complications would I run into in this kind of a swap? Thanks for any help!

Nothing, as long as you get the engine complete with harness and PCM. Zip/Zap done.

Basically a straight up swap. You'll be keeping your intake, TB & oil pan. Computer will need a little tuning to get it perfect.

Thanks for the answers. Wilwaxu will my computer work with some tuning or will I have to get a knew one? What Is the difference in the MAF? Wiring harnes should be the same right? Really funny... cost difference between the ls1 and the ls6 is only $80 from where Im getting it. Just so you will know I want as much power as I can get but this is the wife's grocery getter and it must be dependable.

I think you might be able to use the CPU if you maybe change a few things with LS1 edit, not completey sure though, other than that, its a straight up swap....
