Default Upgrading Headers

I currently have 3/4" Pacesetters. The ceramic coating is flaking off and I'm about to start on a semi-serious H/C/I swap (shooting for 450rwhp). With this H/C/I, I'm going to be replacing the exhaust and motor mounts, so the headers are coming off anyway. I was initially going to repaint the headers with VHT Header paint, but then thought about getting some stainless steel headers (7/8"). Would it be worth it to upgrade to some $800 headers (an extra $500 after I sell my Pacesetters) for that extra 1/8" primary?

Default

I heard that the 1 7/8 headers can be over kill for just a bolt on car. I just got LPP stainless headers that are 1 3/4 for only $600 for the LT's and ORY. If you are upgrading though I would say get stainless.
