Happens all the time on various brands of headers - not just Pacesetters. There are many threads about it. Just weld up the hole and get rid of your EGR and AIR.

Put a patch over it and weld the patch to the header tube.

I've seen a few cases of this, hoping it doesn't happen to me down the road.

We've welded probly 20 of those. Can do it while it's on the car. We have a habit of only ordering race style headers so there are no fittings.

Dont feel like you made a bad choice on headers. They will all do that. I have seen Pacesetter, Hooker, Jet Hot, and Flowtech do it.

I am currently running some of the stainless ebay headers and Im waiting to hear the machine gun start firing under the hood

I had it happen on both sets of PSs I've had. Either get the race header or weld a patch over it with a piece of stainless steel and it won't rust. I did the stainless patch about a year ago and no rust or problems since.

I have a set of Pacesetters that were the very first batch they sold. My AIR and EGR tubes are still solid. I've had a couple of friends who lost the AIR tubes on their Kooks.

no the 3rd primary tube off the header you can see the hole in the pic i attached click it... the guy fixing is is going to grind the hole out to a almost perfect circle put a patch in shape it to the curve of the header and tig it in place

Just happened to me on my drivers side the other day. I had the EGR version but with blockoffs so that could have contributed. Going to have it welded this week. Lasted me 3+ years of abuse.

the front 02 bung is in the collector. the front hole is for the AIR fitting. screw emission headers all together and just buy race ones.

Did you speak with Pacesetter about this? If so, what did they have to say.

This is the second thread in just a couple days with the same topic, and within each thread there are so many people saying, "Hey that happened to me too."
What kinda bullshit is this? I can't believe these headers are doing this. If this happens to mine you better believe the manufacturer will hear about it. This is obviously an issue that needs attention.
If you haven't contacted Pacesetter, PLEASE do and tell them this is a very common problem that apparently needs dealt with.
