Unhappy Can't stop overheating!!!!

Not sure this is the right place to ask this kind of question, but seemed the best out of the choices I had. I have a 99 Z28 ,Just replaced the engine with a used one, have added a turbo, 42lb injectors, and a stand up Griffen radiator. I modified ( by modified I mean cut some of the plastic off) my fans and put them in front of the radiator. Car runs about 240 and sometimes spikes up to 260. Before my car never ran hotter than 210. Thought about switching the fan wires to make them push instead of pull, but I do not know if this will help anything. Also programed my fans to come on earlier at 100F. I'm not losing any water. Any suggestions???

Stat issue, air bubble in the system or switch the fans and see if that helps(might need bigger fan/fans).

Might post this up in the Forced Induction section as well and see what those guys think....good luck with it.

Do I understand correctly that the fans are in front and pulling air?

yes, wouldn't fit in the back, I know pulling hot air from the engine. Tried to wire them backwards to make them push but only spun around once before it blew the fuse.

You are definately going to have to figure out a way to get air SUCKED thru the radiator from the cold side vs the hot side. Don't they make some smaller rad fans for turbo cars where room is limited? Anyways not my area of expertise, just thought I would throw my 2 cents in.

This might help though, a member on here that goes by V Series Tech has an FRC with a twin turbo ls6 making over 700 rwhp and he hasn't mentioned anything about overheating. He's got other issues, but overheating isn't one of them. Might shoot him a PM for some advice. I also think he layed his rad down a bit at an angle to take advantage of the cool outside air from the front spoiler. Not sure, better ask him. His name is Jaime.
