Default Cali Smog and will this pass

Just lookin to see if anybody has experiance with this setup, I have a 98 T/A A4 LT's Catted Y pipe and all the EGR,**** on there, it passes smog now just fine but i am going to be putting a TR224/224 112LSA and about a 3600 stall converter, does anybody have a setup simiar and does it pass?

i dont know about the cams but you definitely shouldnt pass with the LTs

The cam will pass, no worries at all with that.

LTs and catted y-pipe wont pass unless you pay someone off at the shop

IDK mine works just fine. I have the MAC headers and catted Y. maybe cause theyre a midlength, my car wont pass the vis, but all i need is the smog #s cause its just for military base stickers.

You will pass the test but not the visual is what I meant. But I wouldnt worry about the cam

visual in a guaranteed no pass. i have to dirty mine every 2 years.

I have heard of guys passing with a lot bigger cams than that but they run two tunes and just call one their "emissions" tune.

I have heard of that too. Since you are from the same area as me, are there any good places to get a dyno tune around our area?

I know there are two shops that sponsor this board that have local dynos. One is CMS and the other is Orange County GM Performance.
From personal experience I haven't been all that impressed with the customer service of either shop, but I think its all we got around this area.

Thanks i am just looking for a shop near camp pendleton cause thats where i will be installing the cam and i dont want to drive taht far to get a tune, its my dd and i dont want it to be out too long.
