Default Can I Grind This Tab?

Can I grind this tab on the block down?

This is on the passenger side, and the tab is located by the starter towards the rear of the car.

Pics...

Lop it off, just a casting tab. Lots of people clearance them when doing headers.

It's about midway down the primary. I bolted the header up and it rests right on it. I would rather be safe than sorry, plus I already took the header out again.
