Default info on new Ypipe (no headers)

I can't afford/dont want to mess with headers, just get rid of the stock restrictions and sound even meaner. It already backfires worse than Uncle Bucks car so thats not an issue.

Do these or any bigger Ypipes:Borla,G2,SLP, replace the cats?
Would it be worth the trouble to get the local exaust shop to take out the 2.5" merge between Y and Borla?
Would I need O2sims or extensions?

Not that I know of, but you could always gut the cats and put them back on.

Thanks Cal
Ok, just a few more questions if you guys dont mind...
1. Anyone running the G2 one with gutted cats?
2. Should I just gut them, or weld a pipe in them?
3. How much of a difference in sound is there
4. Am I the only one that thought the Uncle Buck joke was funny

Don't get me wrong,Id love headers, they were the very first mod I thought of doing besides cat back....thing is that I want more info on the easier and cheaper mod so I can know whether I want to do the gutting/Ypipe now or wait a year or two for headers. when I have the money and no warranty to consider.
I guess yall aren't fans of the movie Uncle Buck? Oh well
