I need more low end power! What external engine mods can I do to get more low end power? I have an M6. When I nail it (w/o dumping the clutch obviously) the car usuallly won't break em loose until I get up to about 3500 rpm! Then it lights em up. I purchased but have not yet installed an ASP underdrive pulley and 3.73 gears. Those will help some, right? The rest of my mods are in the sig. Should I get rid of the SLP maf and put the stocker back on. I heard the SLP maf may lose you some low end.
Any input would be appreciated.

Re: I need more low end power! the ls1's have never been about down low tq to begin with. 3k-3500 sounds about right to spin the tires from a punch. peak tq stock is at 4k. its not like the lt1 where it peaks at 2400 but then falls on its *** anything over 5k.
gears will help, and as far as the MAF, it your car isnt running overly rich/lean then i would just keep it in there.
from my experience the more mods i added the more it pulled on the top end, didnt loose all that much low end but didnt gain a whole lot either.
