Default I need more low end power!

What external engine mods can I do to get more low end power? I have an M6. When I nail it (w/o dumping the clutch obviously) the car usuallly won't break em loose until I get up to about 3500 rpm! Then it lights em up. I purchased but have not yet installed an ASP underdrive pulley and 3.73 gears. Those will help some, right? The rest of my mods are in the sig. Should I get rid of the SLP maf and put the stocker back on. I heard the SLP maf may lose you some low end.
Any input would be appreciated.

The new gears will remedy your woes.
Might as well go 4.10's while you're at it.

the ls1's have never been about down low tq to begin with. 3k-3500 sounds about right to spin the tires from a punch. peak tq stock is at 4k. its not like the lt1 where it peaks at 2400 but then falls on its *** anything over 5k.

gears will help, and as far as the MAF, it your car isnt running overly rich/lean then i would just keep it in there.

from my experience the more mods i added the more it pulled on the top end, didnt loose all that much low end but didnt gain a whole lot either.
