agreed, with my 4.10 geared M6 at 80mph i'm at 2100rpm with an A4 it would be around 3200rpm, i believe or VERY near. Poor gas mileage, and wear out your motor and alot quicker. Exspecailly if you have an aftermarket high lift cam, would wear the springs WAY too quick. I know with the MS3 your suppose to change springs every 30K or so. More revs=even quicker wear. It would accell like a bitch though!

If you drive 60 their not bad at all. In town their great. Honestly on a 26 i would prolly go 3.42 for most people. With a proper stall A 3.42 is plenty of gear IMO. Im went with 4.10's and a 28 which works out to about a 3.85. Which should work out great for me since im all street with the RARE trip to our 1/8th track.

If your just looking to grab some ET get the rear end out of a manual. Cheaper no gear install hassle. Then look into a stall. And go with about 400 bigger than you think you want . I have had 3 different gears in my car feel free to PM if you want a little insite into them sir.
