Default Best way to remove ac box?

Ok i have been having a hell of a time trying to get this damn ac box off my firewall. I know you can take the dash out to do it but i dont have time for that huge of a project in itself. I unbolted it all from the firewall. nothing....tried using a grinder to cut it off but its too big to really do much. plus i just made a big mess of dust everywhere from cutting it. so how do i do this? is it ok to cut? what should i cut it with? where should i cut? HELP

I have the engine out of the car BTW

Best way i have seen is by way of destruction Cut it off in sections with a cut-off wheel or simply break it apart, it is fiberglass afterall.

I beat the hell out of mine with a 3lb hammer. The motor was out of the car so it was a little easier. Then I fabbed up my own delete plate with 18 gage sheet metal
