Default TSP ORY and Pacesetter LT

I just installed the Pacesetter and went to install the TSP Y and I do not see any way to make it work.
First off it was not flared out enough to fit over the headers, and it does not have any flat spot to clear under the car. So you can't even get it on the header even if it would slip over the collector.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?
I think I will just order the Pacesetter y pipe and not even mess with the TSP set up.

lol.... don't tell me you didn't research this before you bought that combo?

it's pretty well known, that the TSP Y-pipe is crap... you are not the first with that combo being a complete failure/bad design combo

Nope I did not do my homework on it, I bought them when TSP was offering a combo package I got that.
Now I see why they were trying to get rid of the things.

Does the Y fit any better with the TSP headers? I don't really see how it can.

I tried both their Y pipes and now have a pacesetter Y on the car. The main reason was ground clearance.

and from the pics i've seen the TSP y-pipe blows big hairy donkey *****... there's no smooth transition of 2 into 1... the merge, if you wanna call it that is basically an intersection where turbulent exhaust gasses just collide into one another instead of flowing smoothly out...

I use to have the TSP ORY and I never had a problem with it. You just need to tweak it a little to get it to fit to your liking. The merge is crap tho.

I just installed the same combo. I got an off road y-pipe that is slightly different than on their website, and the fit wasnt bad at all. And it actually has a merge different from the other designs. guess I got lucky

Same here when I was running that setup. I drove to an exhaust shop and gave them $80 to make it work. They flared the ends, put the flat spot in, and changed the angles on some of the bends.
