Default Do all ear LS1's 97-04 have the same starter?

I'm selling a new reman'd that i didn't end up needing and the buy is unsure of there being different ones. Like needed shorter bolts that secure it to the block. They are all the same right? I've never heard of there being shorter or longer starter bolts. This starter was suppose to go on my 2000 T/A

TIA
Nick

EDIT: Will the starter work on the LS3 and LS7?

The original design had a long inboard bolt, and a short outboard bolt. Due to a number of block failures, the starter design has been updated - both bolts are now the same length.

i see, so either way all you need is another long bolt if you have the old design(i.e. original starter)?

No, the old design had a tab on the block that broke off, so they switch to a flat mounting surface.

__--- old design

____ new design

That is if I understand it correctly
