Default Any difference between A4 and M6 99-02 MAF sensors?

Is there any difference between an A4 MAF and a M6 MAF? Also, is there any difference beween one for a 99 as opposed to a 01? I know the 98's won't work, but what about 99-02? Also, will one off a Vette work? Thanks!

I can't speak from experience on the '99s but there is no difference that I can tell on a '00,'01, or '02. I've had all three years. The '01 was an M6, the other two were A4s. I bet the '99 is the same.

My '01 'Vette had an 85mm MAF but it could be made to work on an F-body if you wanted to.

All 98-02 F-Body MAFs are the same. Doesn't matter if it is an A4 or M6.

Thanks for the info. My buddy just got a 99 WS6, and it has a Granatelli. He's wants to get rid of it and throw on a stock MAF, so if anyone is interested...

I just assumed since the 98's had different injectors that the MAF wouldn't be the same. Anyway, thanks again!

It's in the programming for the injectors on the 98's that is different, not the MAF. Just like the 2002 Z06 with no screen has a different MAF table in the PCM to accomodate the different airflow.

2001's and 2002's also have larger injectors

But they are correct, the programming is different, same maf.
