How can I be sure I'm buying an LS6 intake manifold? I'm about to buy an LS6 manifold from a guy, but don't want to get screwed. Where on the manifold will it actually SAY it's an LS6 instead of an LS1?

you can look up part numbers or look for one with a flat bottom, ls1 is curved and ls6 is flat
also there is a difference in the casting bracing between ports, one is square and the other are Xs, I want to say the ls6 is square (waffle shaped) but you should double check that

the botton looks flat to me is it?
if so it is not an ls6 and also the ls1 has a an egr port the ls6 does not. it is located behind where the throttle body bolts to the intake manifold
