lol that sucks! Have you tried disassembling the MAF, and tapping it in? Or tapping it out?

Same thing happened to me. Gonna have to take sandpaper and sand out the neck. I did this, then me and my dad had to push from opposite ends to get it on. Had to use gun lube to get it to slip on the MAF end. It's a bitch but this worked for me. Good luck.

yeah there is no exact science to getting the damn MAF in a new lid lol. I had to heat and sand down the inside of the neck of mine to get the MAF to go in... even then it was a battle of epic proportions haha

It's a pain. You gotta kinda install everything at once and slip it into the TB. At least that's how I did it. If you bought the whole SLP kit, there's notches on the tubes as well as the MAF.

And the lid seems to seat weird to me. Maybe someone else noticed that too?

I agree with Non. You might have to use a little elbow grease to make it fit correctly. It is especially a pain if you have a SLP smooth bellow.

As far as it sitting correctly, mine "sat" perfect. Although I have heard of other people saying it fit a bit weird. I found this thread (below) about sealing the box with weather striping which I thought was a pretty good idea. I'm going to seal it with silicone and see how it works. That might solve the problem.
