people running 2.5" true duals, please read
i dont want to go 3" because i think that's overkill on a bolt-on's car. i'll be doing a cam swap in the future, but something mild (TR 224), so i think i can benefit with a 2.5" system over the 3" (as far as low end torque is concerned). My question, are you guys running 2.5" piping right after the headers? or are you reducing it from 3" to 2.5" later on (after the x-pipe)? Im not sure which way to go, so im looking for opinions, thanks!

Re: people running 2.5
i dont see much of an improvement with the 2.5" system, as far as how low the power curves are
I dynoed my car after i installed the full exhaust, and the peak tq was at 4900, peak hp was at 5700rpms
the only mods at the time were a lid, headers, 2.5" duals with Xpipe, bullets, and dumps
if i could do it over again, i would have gone 3" since now that im building a H/C 347, i gotta ditch the 2.5" for bigger
