Default Damnit.. forgot to put intake gaskets in

Well.. I installed my LS6 intake last weekend and for some reason I remembered that I did not put any gaskets in. The car seem to be running fine (I dd it). Although its not horrible, I dont want to have to take it off if i dont need too. How neccisary are the gaskets . I am getting a tune tommorow so I need to know.

I'm betting you have the gaskets in there, the car would not even idle let alone drive down the road with out the gaskets.

yea no way at all the plastic is going to seal against the aluminum... you probably would have burnt a piston up by now by running extremely lean, if it would run at all..

did you buy it used and not touch it?
