Default Steering wheel controls and blinker question...

The other day the backlight for my steering wheel controls on the right side (volume, play, mute) went out, they still work just no light. At the same time my right turn signal got extremely slow, were talking once every 10 seconds or so it will blink. I checked fuses and couldn't see anything. Would the flasher cause this to happen? If so where are they on our cars? Thanx.

The bulb prolly burned out in wheel,& then the flasher is up to the right of the column under bolster/knee panel.

I don't know about the light in the steering wheel, but my guess would be the light just went out. Also about the blinker, I cant remember correctly but I think if the blinker is blinking slow a certain bulb(outside the car) burned out, maybe somone can chime in on this in greater detail.

RE: Bulb burned out....

I think my 99 Firebird is suffering the same fate at the moment - Just the bulb problem.

Is it just a question of removing the control buttons and replacing a bulb? If so, how are the buttons removed?

Please don't tell me that it requires a Dealership to do.

Is there anyone that knows how this is done?
