fast porting...
ive read about this stuff and was sure about what i wanted to do until it actually got here...
i just dont see how porting the inlet of this manifold gains anything.
i mounted my nick williams throttle body up to the manifold and pulled the blade open and ran my finger in there. the back side of the throttle body and the lip of the manifold match EXACTLY. how does porting it out help anything?
from my reading the only area focused on is the inlet of the manifold. what am i missing? i need to decide if i want to install it tonight or wait to have it ported at westside performance in houston.

From what I understand its not just the inlet that is opened up. It can be increased to match other throttle bodies up to a point, but mostly they clean up the runners and the head ports.
