Arrow Come in and share your Dyno Numbers of before and after headers install PLEASE.

Im looking into buying a set of coated headers.

Anyone have any dyno results of before and after headers installation? If so please let me know and make sure you mention the brand

Please include your mods as well (size of y-pipe? size of headers? tuning? cutouts? other mods..etc)

This should help me decide whether I want to spend $330-$1500 on just coated headers. So PLEASE chime in and help me decide as I dont want to regret anything later.

(go easy on the opinions. HP/TQ figures are what im looking for )

Thanks in advance for all of those that could be of great help.

Stock car (at the time) with the only difference in numbers being the header swap:

Before- 302 RWHP
After the headers in signature- 333 RWHP

I'm using the 1 7/8 primaries. These are essentially the same headers now sold by QTP.

Never had my car on a dyno stock, but I made the numbers in sig with just long tubes and a lid. That was before the true duals and all. Also, that dyno run was with my crappy loose converter, so there is some power loss there also.

Hey Durien, you made 18 hp without a tune? just bolt-on and go? I'm looking into a set of jet hot headers and was wondering what kind of numbers they made.

332 rwhp 343 rwtq with Whisper lid and MagnaFlow catback

354 rwhp 373 rwtq Jet-hot coated Hooker longtubes with Jet-Hot Hooker offroad y-pipe, Whisper lid and Magnaflow catback. Same dyno.

So 22 rwhp and 30 rwtq from just longtubes and offroad y-pipe.

I had 321 and 340 torque before the headers. I have hooker long tubes and before the tune I had 344 and 362 torque, then after the tune i have 353 and 372. The tunning was done by MTI. Oh BTW its an auto :p
