Default Alternate Smooth bellows...see inside

I have my whole lid assembly recessed back about 1 inch so i didnt want to buy an slp smooth bellows for $45-$50 dollars and have to trim it and it be right on the center bubble with the clamps...so i did some searching and found a nice unit on http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/mer...gory_Code=SAE0 it is a 4" I.D. rubber coupling that has a 22* bend, which is pretty had to find...

fits perfect over the tb and is just a hair lose on the maf side, but once the clamps are tightened up it is perfect...it also cuts very easy and is pretty pliable...

cost was like 25 plus 8 for shipping...not extremely cheap but works perfect for what i needed...was at my house the next day too...

Isnt this damn near the same thing as the slp bellows? Just as cheap as the 22* one

yeah it is but if you look at the SLP smooth bellows it actually has some angle too it since the maf to lid is not a straight shot...i tried the frenco mod and didnt like how stiff it was and how it fit...it really needs the an angle in it...

yeah for an extra $25 i will pay for a better fit and not having to dremel for an hr or 2...functional though...

EXACTLY!

I got tired of dicking around with the fernco bellows from H.D.... just bought a stock accordion off another guy on here and put it back in...

but this looks like a nice/cheaper way than the overpriced SLP ****...

how much of a performance gain is to be had from this? i always heard the slp bellows was **** so i never investigated it

this looks good, but i think just some 4" ID rubber hose will have the same look IMO
