Angry falty o2 sensor

hey im kinda new to the board and i was just wonderin, i have a "malfuctuing" o2 sensor. and the ppl at auto zone said that i really didnt have to to replace it all i have to do is just clean it off evey now and then if i didnt have the money. what do yall think i should do?

You can try to clean it but if the code comes back it's time for a new one.

What do you use to clean them? Mine switch slow and my ltrims are very earattic. Thought this may be an option rather than buying new ones.

I clean mine with Isopropyl alcohol
a friend of mine taught me that, he's still got the original O2's in his 88 RX7 that he cleans every once in a while
and that rotary is a SMOKER
