Question for WS6 guys only. Funnels? does anyone have funnels in frount of there stock air box? I have a friend who recently got a stock 99 WS6 and he swears up and down that it has some funnels in front of the air box. i have never heard or seen this before so i am wondering if its a WS6 thing only. I consider myself well versed with the LS1 engine having had one for 2 years but never have i crossed paths with funnels.

Are you talking about some kind of funnel in the hood scoop? If so, those are a part of the BG Ram Air kit that I have which helps to improve air flow through the stock WS6 hood.
This may not be what you're refering to though....

If its stock, then he is prolly talking about the 2 air "funnels" or "baffles" in the hood behind the nose pieces. most people take those out or buy that BG kit RPMWS6 was talking about. But yes, the hood has 2 of them in there.
