2001 z28! need some help! ok so i picked up a 2001 z28 hardtop 6speed, 140k yesterday, guy said it needs a fuel pump, hooked up my fuel pressure gauge 0 so im pretty sure its the pump lol, anyways.. what are my options here? iv never done a pump in a ls1 car.. can i buy a walbro and throw it in? iv heard yes's and no's.. i just wanna get this thing running!, how hard is it to do a pump on these cars also?, i dont wanna spend 550 on a fuel pump assembly.

it all depends on what you wanna do for the walbro or not, i have a stock replacement and it does fine for me but doing a fuel pump on these things isn't the most enjoyable time

im gonna do cam later on.. but i was told i cant throw a walbro in.. i dont know why? i have the money to buy a walhbro but not a whole assembly.. so any help!?
