Default Got my ported FAST from Vengeance!!..1 Q

Ok guys, I finally received my FAST intake and NW TB!!! Now its time to put this on and try it!!

One Q; do you think its safe to run the intake without a new tune? Will the AFR will be leaner or richer??..because I'm running nitrous and I'm wondering if its safe or not. My tune is on the safe side though, I'm more on the rich than anything on the nitrous.

You'll be lucky if your car stays on at all. We usually mess with the idle set screw until we get a car tuned. I wouldn't try to spray it until you get a tune...............

Yeah, nitrous wasnt in my plan before a retune..thanks for the advice The car is pretty stable; it idles better than before!!

About the power, I can say that the car is identical of maybe a little little bit better than it was with my LS6 and ported TB combo..is it normal because its not tuned? I thought the intake untuned would be good for a good 10-20rwhp, which is clearly not the case because I dont see any difference before/after..

My car idled better after the install too. I felt a huge difference...but I had a ls1 intake before.

Some cars seem to like them more than others though.

I assure you my car suck with it. The new cam was a way better option but I was thinking about this intake since 3years, so its done now.

My car was rich before the install so that might be another reason it felt stronger if it leaned me out some to a more "normal" range
