Default Look at the location of my 02 bung

This is on a pair of VERY high dollar headers. They are 2" to a 3.5" collector. My concern is that the bung on the drivers side that you see here is in direct line with the 2 upper pipes. My question is why is this not in the middle where it will be in direct "flow" with all 4 pipes exiting the engine? Will this effect the reading on the 02?

Also something else that is bothering me is look at the restriction in the collector how it reduces down.... is that normal?

i can. most headers i see have it on the crease between where the primaries enter the collector so they dont block the flow of one cylinder.

i cant tell cuz its not a shot of the whole header but is that the primary for #7? maby they want the O2 there since thats the one that tends to run leanest.... just my .02. i could see sacraficing 2hp in lieu of not burning up rings.

alot of the stainless companies put theirs really close to the exit on the primary tubes

ive only seen few others that keep the o2 farther back in the collector

and also the place where the collector reduces down is normal. the brief restriction increases the velocity of the exhaust gasses.

Yes. I know there a really well known and reputable company but i pushed them a little bit to get them out the door. I just wanted to make sure that they was like everyones with the 02 bung being up there and with the collector like that.
