Default Lid for 99 and 01 the same?

What are the differences between the lids for a 99 and for an 01? Can I use a 01 lid on my 99? I did some research but still confused it they are interchangeable.

Oh boy. Yes any lid will work for an f-body, they all will fit 98-02 f-bodies.

do the 98-00 have the AIR tube going into the lid? I thought only the 00-02 had that. could be wrong though. I know Im going to buy a new lid so I dont have a hole on the right side since i deleted my AIR system. I have it covered with electrical tape right now. I was thinking of getting the fasttoys clear lid.

Its the 01-02's that have the AIR hole on the side of the lid.

P.S. check the for sale section, i recently saw that a member is selling his clear lid. Just to let you know...

OP, you can use the lid but you'll just have to plug up the hole on the side.
