Default nick williams 92 mm tb sticking

did anyones nick williams 92 mm throttle body ever give you problems? i just installed a fast 92 intake/NW throttle body and now i am having issues with the tb sticking on me. i did some research and it seemed everyone was pretty happy it. it doesn't always stick. just after you go WOT and let off the gas quickly then try to get back into it it sticks.

You sure it's the TB itself & not something in your pedal assembly or throttle cable wire? Usually the Nick Williams don't have sticking issues like the Fast was notorious for.

well, i fixed the problem. it was the idle screw. it was backed off a little bit to much causing the blade to bind. i tightened the screw a little bit and now it's perfect!!!!! it was kinda my fault for now double checking it. i would also like to thank nick williams. he contacted me when he found out i had issues with my tb. i am glad to see that he backs his products and i can't blame him. it is a very good quality throttle body

My black widow tb is sticking before return to 0%. Idling high 1500-2000
Hangs open during driving also. 2500-3000. If i give it a few revs it will move correct and sit correct when it feels like it. Its not cooperating
I need a rebuild or repair parts of stiffer spring

I ordered new NW 92 that won't get installed until spring and while drooling over it I noticed that it didn't close 100%. It was grinding on both sides of the blade right where the shaft meets the inside of the throttle body. It was actually gouging up the sides. I had to remove the blade and sand the edges that were rubbing then smooth out the inside of the throttle body that the blade gouged up. Put it back together and re-loctited the screws, making sure the blade was perfectly centered and tested it many times. Works like a champ now.
