Its not going to be loud. My car was all stock except for Flowmaster 80 series catback. Put on H/C and LT's with 3 inch Y into magnaflow and the car was the same decibel level, but sounded way better.

Magnaflow sounds good, but not too loud if thats what your looking for.

my car with LT's and ORY through Magnaflow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGsuOG-lXZ4

it's pretty loud. putting cats on in the next few weeks, hoping for it to be a tad quieter and less raspy.

A friend and I installed Jet Hot LT's, ORY, and Magnaflow Catback on his 98 Z28 and I think it sounds great. I'm curious what it would sound like with Cats and the QTP Y-pipe with the Flowmaster Merge. Once you get your setup complete you should post some audio clips and/or a video. I'd love to hear it, as would others, I'm sure.

Headers and Y-pipe. Hands down. I'm not much of a fan of the new ZO6 Wheels on anything other than the Corvette, but if I was, I'd still vote for the LT's.

It will be a little bit louder at idle, definitely bassier, good and loud at WOT. Please don't go with an ORY.

Sounds like poo poo.

You can click on on the little burnout vid in my sig to get a sound clip of my setup. H/C/I 402 LS2 with pacesetter LT's, Catted Y-pipe and Magnaflow Catback. I love Magnaflow because it is a straight though design but quits down your setup considerably.
