Is a set of cut out's worth installing on a 2001 SS
My car has lid and filter free air mods 160 thermostat and electric fan switch 3000 stall torque and ETstreets I get to run it at the track about 4 times a summer and my best 1/8 th is 8.2 would the cut out help and by how much also what else would get me under 8 seconds , thanks.

It's quite possible that it gets you a 7.9, if you get good traction and the weather is great and have alot of luck. But I guess you might hit 8.0. Just get the cutout and find out. It's one of those cheap mods that you just have to have for the price. You can get one from Jeg's for $25. Hell with all the mods I have I just barely hit 8.2's at the track, but I spin like I'm on ice.
