Default other bolt-ons....

I have a 1998 Ws6.
These are my current engine mods:
Ls6 manifold
slp air lid, filter, and smooth bellows
slp magnamouth catback
mac mids about to go on
frost tune coming in about a week
I believe it has 180º thermostat (it runs at about 180 according to the gauge)

I was tryin to figure out if anyone knows of any other bolt-on mods that will give me a good hp boost without tearing into the engine and without costing a fortune. I already have all the general suspension mods.

i was thinkin about 1.8 yella terra ultralights but im not sure if those will help much.... anything else?

gears and good sticky tires - most underated mod - wont produce horsepower on paper but will make you noticably faster

^those are definately good choices. also, if you are an A4, than a stall would be a good choice. i guess you already have the mac mids purchased, i wouldnt have gone with that but its alright. an elecetric water pump and an UD pulley are about all thats left that i can think of.

Ported TB, EWP, and pulley. But the water pump and pulley won't be cheap and won't really show a big gain. Your exhaust isn't the best for making power either, I'd at least go with LT's if you can.

already have the macs..... got them used for 100 bucks, ported the inlets a little bit and ceramic coated them they look beautiful. look like they will make a nice difference. got the catted y to go with it but i may pick up an offroad version if it is too quiet this way. got a flowmaster merge too.

but besides this, the rockers and the pulley it seems like theres really no other true bolt on mods that will make some good power. when i first got my dakota r/t i feel like there were sooo many bolt-ons i did but with this car i feel like "thats it?"

Rockers are more of a bolt-in than a bolt-on

QUOTE]I have a few of the mods you listed...with a VERY mild baby cam and numbers are shown. I like the Macs, but I believe if I were to upgrade to LT's and a nice catback ot true duals, quite a bit more power could be there. Right now I just have the stock catback through a chokemaster...

Exhaust like Quik Sand said. Good set of LTs and catback should help out that engine, especially when you want to upgrade your heads/cam.
