Default True Duals (vid)

Hooker LT's with dynomax bullets with 2.5 inch pipe. The pipes are ran out the back under the axle. There is no crossover pipe. Do you think it would sound better with a H pipe or X. I just wanted some opinions on how it sounds. Thanks.

Sound is subjective. H for more deep "old school muscle" sound. X for more "exotic race/nascar sound"

Definitely needs a little help in the sound department, vid just sounds like rumble, needs some tone.

On the other hand, do you have any pics of your under the axle set up?

integraxtc i don't have any but i will take some later this evening. I just don' know why it sounds so weird. I can't stand the way it sounds. I am thinking about switching to single chamber flowmasters. Hopefully that will make it sound better. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Im not an expert but dude you need an x-pipe on that thing. It'll sound a whole lot better and it should perform better as well because the x-pipe will even up the backpressure for better flow if im not mistaken. Just my 2 cents.

before i had a crossover pipe it sounded like nascar loud and mine was 3inch with LM1 resonators, but once i put in a H in deepend the tone but the LM1 was still stupid loud. because of a ticket last january i went with sweet thunder chambered exhaust and have loved it ever since . . . they look like normal resonators from the outside but if you look into them they aren't hollow like every other resonator only $50 each check into it!

thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna make another sound clip here shortly with a couple of revs. that other clip was not that great. but I am looking for a loud deep sound. all of the videos I have seen posted on here sounded good with bullets and mine sounds totally different! i will be getting an x pipe soon. i think it will help the sound a LOT! should I get a one already made or get my exhaust shop to make me one? once again thanks for all the help!

Here is a quick rev on how it sounds. The quality is a little better than the other. I want that loud nascar sound. I am starting to lean toward the LM1 resonators. Also here are some pics of the clearance. Here is the clip http://tinypic.com/r/29ep1c9/5

Heres a clip i found off of you tube. This is the sound im looking for! It is lm1 resonators with a x pipe dumped.

that's messed up routing dude. Now if you're going to do an Xpipe for the nascar sound you want, you have to redo it.

Get the Xpipe, and route it symmetrically. One pipe under each side of the axle. Check out the TDs thread stickied in yellow for examples.

I agree with you that they were routed wrong. I gave the guy at the shop a pic of how i wanted them ran like one pipe under each side of the axle and i came to pick the car up and this is what i ended up with.. I did get a h-pipe installed today and here is the clip http://tinypic.com/r/2q8wu54/5 It sounds so much better now. Ill get a WOT clip sunday.
