oil on intake valves and bolts wtf! help
hey guys i pulled my intake and found a little bit of oil on the intake valves and when i pulled the intake bolts out there was oil on the threads.
i had a bbk intake that i dident like so i took it off and put my ls1 intake on for now and i noticed this.
when i put the bbk on i also added a catch can from the ws6 store and after a few track outings and some normal driving i pulled the bbk to return it so could i really have still been geting that much oil in the intake ports?
because there was a good amount of oil on and around the intake ports.
help me out guys

Pull the spark plug from that cylinder, check to see if there's oil on it. If there is you could have bent valves, bad rings, bad valve seals... A compression and leakdown test will give you the answer to that. I remember I had oil on a few of my plugs, used a spark plug adapter on an air line... All of the air was coming back out the intake runner with both valves closed, bent valves FTL
