Default Polished GMMG

I've seen where some of you guys on here have polished your GMMG cat-backs and I decided to do mine. I got mine used and plan on hanging it next week. I started by sanding it with 800, then 1500, then 2000, and finally I polished it with Mother's polish. The I-pipe was brown and it came out great. The back section was ok to begin with, but it is a little improved. Any tips on how to really make the rear shine?

After

to tell you the truth, i cant even tell the difference between the before and after. maybe you got a shitty camera, but it doesnt look like theres a difference at all. i would use a dremel with felt polishing tips and see how that works out. also, try posting in the detailing section; youll get a lot more feedback in that section

The i-pipe is night and day, but I didn't take a great before pic of that. I was thinking about putting it in the other section, but I didn't think it was beyond the scope of this section. Thanks.

So I hit it with a buffer and polishing compoud to get this final result. Compared to last night, this is WAY more polished and the chambered mufflers are mirror-polished. I couldn't get it perfect, but it suits me and I feel like it will look awesome under the car. Let me know what you think.

Thanks man. The main rear section wasn't too dirty when I picked it up, but the I pipe was completely brown. I have them both equally polished now, and I never want to do that again! hahaha

Thanks guys! That's actually my horror room. The room is wall to wall horror. I have VHS', DVD's, action figures, signed memorabillia, a closet full of collectibles, a glass display case of my really rare items, the list goes on, lol. I'm 24 and I've been collecting since I was 6.

I didn't want to be the first one to say that. But they do look a little cleaner in the "after" pics.

Just finished polishing my GMMG as well. figured I would just post the pics in here instead of starting another thread.

Before:

After: You can see that the whole system now matches the already polished tips

I turned off the flash for a try at a reflection shot. can you see the ?
