Default MAF question, help please

Do the MAF from a 2000 LS1 is the same as on the 2002 one? I know that the SLP ones runs from 98 to 2000 I think and the 2001 and 2002 are the same. What about the stock ones? I have a 2000 LS1 andf have an offer from a 2002, do is the same or the eletronics or something are different?

The factory MAF is the same across years. SLP plays with
the fake-out resistor based on the idea that '98-'00 were
"leaner" than '01-'02. All of them are "truck MAFs" until
SLP decides to solder on a 2.4K ('98-'00) or 2.7K ('01-'02)
resistor.

But fuel trimming can mess the result around, and you are
looking at a MAF that nobody has a clean calibration for
(it's not GM's problem, and SLP can't be bothered).

You'd be better off descreening a stocker at least until
you go to a bigger TB / intake.
