Default Header Bolt Options???

What stainless header bolts are you guys using??? I tried a search but didnt really find anything. I bought a set of LPPs and need some decent stainless bolts to go with them. Also should the stock gaskets work fine or do I need to get some new ones (the car has 20,000 miles)?

for Stainless get ARP header bolts. I don't know what size ls1 use. 12 point are usually good for getting a wrench on them.

Search Summit.

Gaskets, get copper or GM, and I would just get new GM ones. They're cheap, might as well have some assurance that you won't have any leaks.

I guess I am leaning that way too...the polished stainless one look good. And being my car is a show car (its the SOM car featured in this months High Performance Pontiac) thats all that really matters to me...looks. I just hate to pay $70 for the bolts.

Thanks for the link!

The 3 layer copper gaskets are just stock GM manifold gaskets...right?

I am with the suggestion right above. The Percys are the way to go . DO NOT BUY THE STAGE 8'S THEY ARE ABSOLUTE CRAP AND RUST! I wasted my money on them I should post a pic of what they look like now. I purchased the Percy's after a total waste of money on the stage 8's.
