Default Guys with Hooker Headers Please Step In*Pics*

I found these for sale locally. They are telling me the headers are stainless and are for the 98 LS1 cars. Mines a 99 so it should fit fine. This is my first set of headers and have no clue what to look for, and still dont know if they are stainless or not. The owner also told me that they were never mounted on the car because it sold before they went on.

Heres some pics. Let me know and thanks!

I've never seen black stainless headers...

That means they're not stainless. They look like plain jane Hooker Headers to me, like what... $300 new maybe?

they look like regular painted headers call hooker(the company not a real hooker) and have em cheack the part # or they probly also have it on line so just do a little home work.
how much did you pay? if you got them really cheap you can send them out the have the ceramic coated which it a good bet.

I think ill pass. They're not SS. Rather get a lightly used SS set.

They don't look very much like my hooker ceramic coated headers. I did get the hooker super comp long tubes for the 01-02, so that may be why they look so much different. They look like painted mild steel headers, you could get some and get them ceramic coated, or go to speedtweekerz.com and get a set of ceramic coated headers for 499$ american.

yea i would def go stainless, i have a set on order right now...otherwise ur going to set yourself up for possible leaks and rusting over the next 1-3 years so u might as well just get stainless and avoid the hassle
