The only time I know I forgot to do something like that was the passgener front Blistien HD shock with the 1LE spring. The base wouldn't mount right, So i had to take it off, compress the spring with a spring compressor then rotate the shock 180 degrees and release the compressor, then it lined up right and the lower A-arm bolts went in.

Well I guess I'm an idiot also! When I put my headers on, I forgot the dipstick, but didn't fire it up. Since I had to take the oil filter off to install the headers, I new I had lost some oil, so I went to check it to see how low it was, and couldn't find the damn dipstick!

Yeah I had trouble trying to find the hole also; finally found a picture in the shop manual that showed it right by the starter motor.

What kind of headers do you have? My QTP's brought my SLP Y right against the floor pan reinforcements, which is great for ground clearance but not so great for banging noises. I solved the problem by cutting a slot wider than the Y pipe through the reinforcements. I welded a new floor pan reinforcement on the top of the floor pan (under the carpet in front of the drivers seat.) This turned out to be a great mod; the bump under the carpet isn't even noticeable, and my Y never hits anything now! (the y is even with the bottom of the SFC's, so no way it could hit the ground.) I have pics if you're interested.

01ws6, FLP's are the ****. Getting them for 700 is a steal. I don't even own an fbody right now and I'd buy them at that price this second LOL. They have great fitment, are high quality, and they are a total package. Who could ask for more? You're definitely comin out on top on this one guy, lol.

if your getting the whole package; headers, y-pipe, cats/racing pipes and clamps then yes, your gettin a hell of a ****** deal

if its just the headers only then its an ok deal, you could get some brand new kooks or qtp for a tab more.
